Gulfstream Park launches its 2004 Latin Jazz series on

Sunday, January 25 at 2:30pm

with a concert featuring the masterful Cuban trumpeter Arturo Sandoval and South American harpist Roberto Perera.

The concert is part of Gulfstream's Family Day, which provides a fun, safe environment for the entire family. In addition to the concert other family activities include interactive games and rides, inflatable bounce houses, face painting, pony rides, special animal exhibits and much more.

The Sandoval/Perera concert is free with a $5 grandstand admission to Gulfstream Park and includes self-parking, racing program and a $2 betting voucher for the day's races. Grandstand admission is free for children 17 and under when accompanied by a paying adult.

In addition to free lawn seating, Gulfstream also offers reserved concert seating on a limited basis. Reserved seats directly in front of the stage are available for just $20 per person, plus the price of admission. VIP Tent seating with beverage service is available for groups of six or more for $15 per person, plus admission. Amigos Together For Kids, a 501©3 non-profit corporation, will receive a donation from Gulfstream Park at this Latin Series kick-off concert. Amigos, was founded in 1991 to respond to the diverse needs of South Florida's abused, abandoned, neglected and less-fortunate children.
