Gulfstream Park’s 2004 Latin Concert Series kicks into high gear on Sunday, February 22 at 2:30pm with a concert featuring Nestor Torres and Chuck Mangione.

Latin Grammy winner Torres, “South Florida’s Pied Piper,” has been captivating audiences internationally with his unique mix of Latin, jazz and pop flute sounds for years.

For over four decades, Chuck Mangione has been the premier flugelhorn player in jazz. He first attracted attention in the Jazz Brothers, and then with Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers.

This incredible 2:30 p.m. concert is free with $5 grandstand admission and includes self-parking, racing program and a $2 betting voucher for the day’s races. Admission to the park, music, concert, and nonstop Family Day entertainment from 12:30 - 4:30 p.m. are all free for children 17 and under when accompanied by a paying adult.

In addition to free lawn seating, Gulfstream offers reserved concert seating on a limited basis. Reserved seats directly in front of the stage are available for the Nestor Torres/Chuck Mangione concert for just $15 per person, plus the price of admission. VIP Tent seating with beverage service is available for groups of six or more for $15 per person, plus admission.

During this event, ASPIRA of Florida will recieve a donation from Gulfstream Park. ASPIRA is a non-profit organization that offers a variety of educational services and opportunities that aid in the leadership development of the youth in our area.
